To assist, support and be a part of an organization as a volunteer, that is committed to establishing downtown Southport as a coastal business center that promotes tourism, commerce, the arts and special events that will bring visitors and the surrounding communities to our downtown area so all can enjoy the village atmosphere of this historic town.
Membership in DSI gives the opportunity to make a difference in the overall success of the Southport community combining the talents of city government, merchants, service industry, Individuals, and non-profit organizations to enhance the quality of life and cultural activities of Smithville Township.
